Certification of International Entrepreneurship
The Certification of International Entrepreneurship is a partnership between the chambers and partners in collaboration with the CIE for Entrepreneurial Studies, CIE seeks to investigate the application of entrepreneurial practices and attitudes to the implementation of educational reform and leadership. CIE also pursues the creation, acquisition and dissemination of knowledge on the process of entrepreneurship in education.
Directors Training Program
The Directors Education and Certification Program is a three-day, intensive, director-level education event for executives, directors, and officers of pre-public and newly public companies. The responsibilities of directors and officers in newly public companies is discussed in detail. The course is designed to reduce the frequency and severity of shareholder litigation.
Head Start-AICC Management Fellows Program
Head Start directors from around the country convene at CIE for the Head Start Management Fellows Program, a two-week, comprehensive management training program taught by CIE faculty in the areas of finance, accounting, strategic planning, organizational development, marketing, and operations.
Health Care Executive Program
The Health Care Executive Program is a two-week summer management development program for executive directors of community-based health care organizations. Eligibility is limited to organizations funded partially or wholly, directly or indirectly, by the chambers and partners. Directors engage in a curriculum that provides the requisite tools, techniques and approaches to confront mounting challenges in community health care.
Management Development for Entrepreneurs Program
The Management Development for Entrepreneurs Program is a rigorous 10-day certificate program held over three weekends that enables entrepreneurs and managers to develop essential management skills in order to strengthen their ability to build effective and profitable organizations.
Head Start Leadership Programs
In partnership program with the chambers and partners. Five participants from ten Head Start agencies receive instruction in up-to-the-minute theory and practice in areas such as Organization and Strategy, Management, Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Operations, and Systems Thinking. The program includes an opening and closing retreat and eight all-day classroom sessions scheduled over a six-month period.
Preschool Teacher Training Programs
Preschool teachers introduce language, math and social science concepts to children from birth to age five. Early childhood education credential, certificate and degree programs prepare these individuals to create and foster learning environments full of age-appropriate art projects, children’s literature, games and music.
CIE provides an accelerated training for preschool and childcare professionals. Students gain this designation by completing several courses in early childhood education, including early childhood education foundations and infant-toddler growth and development. Upon completion, graduates may use the CIE professional designation and apply a certificate.
Confucius Institute of Education offers an innovative free membership programs above designed to enterprise leaders and empower working professionals with the skills and tools they need to effectively manage the multitude of issues confronted by today’s business leaders.
Courses are held on evenings and weekends in downtown or school campus.
